Enrolling in Medicaid
Once you request an application from Magellan to join the HFWA provider network, Magellan will issue an Acknowledgement Letter (a required document when submitting for WY Medicaid enrollment).
- The Acknowledgement Letter recognizes that you are a provider applicant for this network, and can now submit an application for Medicaid enrollment in order to provide waiver services.
- Please note – You will be completing the Magellan network application and the Medicaid enrollment at the same time.

- If you have applied with Wyoming Medicaid as an individual provider and submitted the required documents within 15 days of applying, the following steps can be taken to obtain the status of your Wyoming Medicaid number:
*If after 15 days of starting your enrollment you have not received a communication from HHS confirming your application is in process, please reach out to HHS.
