In order to participate in Magellan’s network, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age:
- Family Care Coordinator – must be at least 21 years of age.
- Family Support Partner – must be at least 21 years of age.
- Youth Support Partner – must be between the ages of 18 and 26.
- Respite – must be at least 21 years of age.
- Become an Active Medicaid Provider.
- Complete the High Fidelity Wraparound certification process.
- You must possess a valid driver’s license.
- You must possess current automobile insurance coverage with applicant listed on policy.
- You must possess current CPR/First Aid certification.
- You must possess or have access to reliable automobile.
- You must pass all Central Registry and FBI/Division of Criminal Investigations background check.
- Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Family Care Coordinator (21 years old or older):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services (or related) field, OR
- Two years of work/personal experience in providing direct services, OR
- Linking of services for youth experiencing serious emotional disturbance.
- Family Support Partner (21 years old or older):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent AND two years work, OR
- Personal experience with children with serious emotional behavioral challenges.
- Youth Support Partner (ages 18 to 26):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with behavioral health needs, OR
- Experience overcoming various systems and obstacles related to mental and behavioral health challenges.
- Respite (21 years old or older):
- Two years of work, OR
- Personal experience with children.
- Family Care Coordinator (21 years old or older):
